Marc Ducret - ICI

Not long ago I worked on a record with drum master Justin Falkner. While chatting, he told me, out of the blue, that his favorite guitarist was Marc Ducret. I did not really expect that but as a matter of fact, I was not that surprised. Marc Ducret, who I've been a big fan since day one has something quite special that allows his music to cross styles & borders. His astonishing sense of rhythm has attracted overseas wizards such as Tim Berne or Bobby Previte, among others.
Ducret is also a prolific and highly inspired composer. This new record "ICI" is released by the great label Ayler Records (who's been documenting his work for a while now). Listening to it is mandatory!
